A school built on the belief that every child deserves a strong foundation.
Arumug Velayutha Ganapathy Vidyalaya was founded in 1987 with 103 students and a single conviction — that quality education must be accessible to every family in Kovilambakkam. We received Matriculation affiliation from the Tamil Nadu Government in 1994, and have grown steadily ever since.
Today we serve over 800 students across pre-KG to Class XII, with a faculty of 50+ educators and a curriculum that balances academic rigour with sports, arts, and character development.

Annual Science Exhibition — 80+ working models on show
Students from Std VI–X presented projects ranging from a rainwater harvesting model to a working seismograph. Over 200 parents attended.

AVG students sweep TN State Chess Championship — 3 medals
Our chess club brought home gold, silver and bronze from the state-level finals held in Coimbatore. Coach Mr. Venkatesh accepted the team trophy.
