AVG Vidyalaya was founded in 1987 by Mr. A.V. Ganapathy and the AVG Educational Trust with a single conviction — that quality education must be accessible to every family in Kovilambakkam, regardless of background.
What began with 103 students in a few rooms has grown into a full-fledged Higher Secondary School. We received Matriculation affiliation from the Tamil Nadu Government in 1994 and were upgraded to Higher Secondary status in 2003.
Today, nearly four decades later, our values remain the same — discipline, dignity and depth in everything we do.
